At Hotel Waldhuus, many wonderful weddings have been held. But every bridal couple has its own ideas of what their perfect wedding day ought to look like. We would like to individually attend to these wishes and advise you with our long-time experience. During the preparations, we are always right at the bride and groom's side, providing help and advice. Because the better the planning the more beautiful this exciting day will be for everyone involved.

Please note that for capacity reasons we can only host weddings in our hotel if the majority of the guests stay overnight in our hotel; at least 20 - 25 rooms must be booked (depending on the size of the wedding).

The prices are not fixed and vary depending on the date and season. The following guide prices apply for double rooms: CHF 225.00 per night in summer and CHF 300.00 per night in winter.

Early check-in is subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed. If the room is not ready for occupancy on arrival, guests are welcome to change in the wellness area and get ready for the ceremony. The car can also be parked in the garage.

Our seminar room can be hired for private weddings. If you would like an outdoor ceremony, we recommend the beautiful Davos mountains with their side valleys.

Due to the seasonal operating times, weddings are possible in the following months: March, April, June, July, August, September, October - Subject to seasonal changes. Please contact us to clarify the availability for your wedding!

The Waldhuus will provide tables, tablecloths, napkins and crockery free of charge. We will be happy to share our contacts with you when looking for the perfect provider for flowers and decorations.

As a family hotel, we warmly welcome children at the Waldhuus.
For children between 3 - 10 years, individual childcare including dinner can be booked until 22:00. We charge CHF 35.00 per child for childcare including children's menu and drinks. Globi can also visit the children on site: flat rate 1 hour for CHF 100.00.

You can party in our hall until 04.00 am. Out of consideration for our hotel guests and neighbors, the fixed upper limit of 85 decibels applies. The strength of the bass must be used appropriately and adjusted on the instructions of the hotel staff. The use of fog machines, sparklers and cigarettes of any kind is prohibited.

We charge CHF 50.00 per hour or part thereof from 01.00 a.m. to 03.00 a.m. for each employee on duty. From 03.00 a.m. we charge CHF 100.00 per hour and employee on duty. Please note that cleaning up after the party takes an average of one hour.

An advance payment is not necessary, we only require a credit card for guarantee purposes. The total amount can be paid up to 10 days after the wedding.
Exception: A prepayment is required for a buyout.
